Description

Layering becomes second nature with the Marled Rib Throw in Natural, a soft and stylish addition that enhances any room s ambience. Its ribbed finish introduces texture, while the marled design offers a subtle mix of tones for added depth. Whether folded at the foot of a bed or draped over a chair, it s a timeless piece for year-round comfort.

Our Stylist Says

I love this faux fur throw for its cosy texture and versatile neutral shade, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-style spaces where its tactile quality can add warmth and softness. For a layered, inviting look, drape it over the end of a neutral sofa or bed, pairing with other natural fibres and simple wood accents. Practical styling tip: fold it neatly when not in use or keep it casually thrown over a chair for a relaxed vibe-its plush surface makes it both functional and decorative, perfect for chilly evenings or adding a touch of luxe to a cosy corner.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
