With its subtle blend of tones and ribbed texture, the Marled Rib Cushion in Natural brings effortless charm to your soft furnishings. The marled effect adds visual depth, while the neutral shade makes it a versatile companion to bolder prints or plain fabrics. Designed for comfort and style, it s a simple way to refresh your seating area.

Our Stylist Says

The marled rib cushion in natural is a versatile piece that adds a cosy, textured layer to both contemporary and traditional interiors. I love its neutral tone, making it easy to mix and match with a variety of colour palettes and patterns. Its plush ribbed design not only provides comfort but also brings subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space. This cushion works particularly well in living rooms with neutral or earthy tones, or even in a monochrome scheme to soften the overall look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other textured cushions or layered throws for a relaxed, inviting feel, and placing it on sofas or beds where its tactile appeal can be appreciated.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
