Description

Using style and practicality, this beautifully crafted Julian Bowen Marlborough 4 Drawer Chest has a waxed oak finish and plenty of storage space to give you a cabinet you can use every day. The durable and sturdy chest gives you four large drawers that you can fill with clothes, bedding and blankets, important documents or cosmetics and more. You can use the top of this storage unit to display seasonal blooms, a mirror, or small trinkets and ornaments, adding a personal touch to this understated chest. It is ideal for placing in your bedroom or guest room, fitting well in small corners or against the wall and stands a little off the ground on thick oak legs. The cabinet has a block design and the table top hangs a little over the drawers, adding an interesting shape to the simple design, and its light wooden tone will match perfectly with both modern and traditional interior styling.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this four-drawer oak chest for its clean lines, solid build and warm grain - it brings a sense of calm order to a room. It sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired bedroom, a modern farmhouse hallway or even a minimalist living area where you need extra storage without fuss. Styling tips: top it with a simple framed mirror or low-profile lamp plus a small plant to balance height. Keep a neutral colour palette - think soft greys, off-whites or muted greens - and layer in natural textures like a linen runner or woven tray. Inside, use dividers or slim baskets to keep items neatly separated and make the most of each drawer.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
