The result of a collaboration between Vitra and Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the Mariposa Club Armchair showcases an inviting form while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. With a slim body that offers optimum comfort in compact proportions, the Mariposa Club Armchair is composed of blocks of cushioning with visible seams. The cushions themselves are crafted from multilayer PU foam upholstery with removable covers, while the webbed metal frame creates a strong grounding for the armchair, softened with polyurethane foam to create an all-round, enveloping cushion feel. With the addition of plastic glides for easy adjustment to fit any floor, the Mariposa Club Armchair is upholstered in rich Credo fabric: a durable 95% new wool blend with a beautifully soft, premium texture. The perfect enhancement for compact urban living spaces and designed to go with the matching sofa, the Mariposa Club Armchair epitomises its designers' philosophy: to seek quality and expressive flare in a condensed structure.
