Description
A distinctive design with a contemporary feel, the Margot rattan bed frame is the centrepiece for a modern styled bedroom. The curved rattan headboard offers a contrast against the solid, smooth lines of the frame. This frame also has a sprung slatted base to give natural bounce, adjusting to where pressure is most exerted to provide greater comfort. Please note Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

I’m a fan of this rattan bed for its clean black metal frame softened by the hand-woven headboard - it injects texture without feeling heavy. It works brilliantly in Scandi-inspired, modern minimalist or relaxed boho schemes where natural fibres and simplicity are key.
For styling, stick to neutral linen bedding in ecru or soft grey, then layer in a chunky throw or knitted cushion in a similar tonal range. Add a round jute or sisal rug underneath to echo the rattan, keep bedside tables pared-back with simple ceramic lamps, and introduce a tall plant to bring a fresh contrast.
