Description

Maple Clear Glass Table Lamp with Shade, Blue

Our Stylist Says

I love this table lamp for its versatile style and the pop of colour it brings to a space. The blue glass base gives it a contemporary yet timeless appeal, making it suitable for both modern and eclectic interiors. It works particularly well on side tables, consoles, or bedside units where it can add a splash of colour without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or monochrome shades for a clean look, or with patterned cushions and decor to add visual interest. Its clear glass element also makes it flexible enough to complement a variety of colour schemes, making it a great all-rounder for living rooms, bedrooms, or even home offices.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
