I’m a fan of the Manila bed for its slim, powder-coated frame that feels both light and durable. Its simple silhouette works equally well in Scandi-inspired spaces, shabby-chic rooms or even a muted industrial setting, as the bronze-white finish won’t compete with bolder accents.
To style it, layer crisp white sheets with a textured throw in a natural fibre - linen or lightweight wool - and position a low, two-drawer bedside table in oak or black metal to echo the bed’s lines. Finish the look with a potted plant for a touch of greenery and a minimalist table lamp to keep the overall vibe fresh and uncluttered.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
