Takings its inspiration from the cosy bedrooms of Kettner's in London, the Manette bed frame has a fanned headrest designed as a focal point for your room. Resting on turned hardwood feet, its low profile is handmade by skilled craftspeople, fully upholstered in velvet that comes in our full made-to-order palette.

I’m a fan of the chocolate velvet bed for its rich tone and soft texture - it immediately adds depth without overwhelming a room. It suits contemporary or art-deco-inspired spaces, but also works in a cosy, layered look with neutral walls. For styling, I’d keep bedding in pale linen or oatmeal shades to let the deep brown stand out, then introduce a couple of velvet cushions in muted jewel tones or a patterned throw for contrast.
