Description

Effectively capturing the beauty of a lotus lake, the Malea Wall Art's calming blues have a deeply relaxing impact, wherever you hang it in view. To make each collage, trained artisans use layers of lotus leaves from China's Weishan Lake, attaching them to paulownia wood canvases before applying layers of turquoise and teal paint. The final flourish – flecks of gold paint – is added before the surface is sealed to protect the fragile leaves.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this wall art because of its vibrant teal tone combined with subtle gold accents, which can add a sophisticated pop of colour to both contemporary and transitional interiors. It works especially well in living rooms or bedrooms that feature neutral palettes, as it can serve as a focal point or statement piece. When styling, consider pairing it with minimalist furniture to let the artwork stand out, or complement it with accessories in similar teal or gold hues for a cohesive look. For practical tips, place it at eye level above a sofa or bed, and ensure there's enough surrounding space to appreciate its details fully.
