Description

Our Malay cabinet is a stylish and functional cabinet packed with retro inspiration. Crafted from sustainable recycled teak wood so that each one is entirely unique and full of quirks and charm, and fronted with rattan webbing and iron bar handles to add a vintage twist. Each door slides up with ease and tucks in to provide ample storage for your music colletion or home bar.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Malay four door in its versatility-its natural wood finish complements both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms, where it can serve as both a storage solution and a statement piece. To style it, consider layering with decorative objects on top, like vases or books, and using items behind the glass doors to add visual interest. Its clean lines and blend of wood and cane details offer a warm, inviting feel, making it easy to integrate into various colour schemes and decor styles, from Scandi minimalism to eclectic boho. Practical tip: utilise the inside storage to keep clutter out of sight, but leave the outside looking polished with a few curated decorative accents.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
