Our Stylist Says
I love how this headboard instantly adds a touch of sophistication to any bedroom. The black plush fabric offers a luxe feel and makes it versatile for various decor styles, from contemporary to classic. It works particularly well in minimalist or monochrome interiors where it can serve as a bold focal point, but also pairs nicely with textured or patterned bedding for a layered look. Practical styling tips include keeping extra cushions and throws in contrasting colours or metallic accents to add warmth, and balancing the dark tone with lighter or neutral walls to keep the space feeling open and inviting. As a statement piece, it’s perfect for creating a sleek, modern vibe or adding a touch of elegance to more traditional spaces.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
