I’m a fan of the Madrid for its clean lines and bright white finish, which make it a versatile backdrop in everything from Scandi-inspired bedrooms to pared-back, contemporary spaces. Its three doors conceal ample hanging space and adjustable shelves, so you can tailor storage to suit bulky coats, folded knitwear or shoe boxes. To keep it looking sharp, use matching fabric bins on the shelves and slimline wooden hangers inside. On top, limit accessories to one or two pieces - for example a woven basket and a single pot plant - so the overall look stays crisp rather than cluttered.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
