I’m really taken with this sideboard’s simple silhouette and matt-black finish - it slots effortlessly into modern Scandi, industrial or monochrome schemes. The two cupboards and three drawers give plenty of hidden storage for dinnerware, media kit or office supplies, while the raised legs keep the look light. For styling, try a mix of low sculptures or a bonsai beside a stack of coffee-table books, then hang a slim mirror or abstract print above to draw the eye up. Tuck cable bundles away at the back and use the door compartments for clutter, leaving the top surface neat and intentional.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
