Our Stylist Says
This teal accent chair and footstool offer a stylish yet practical addition to many interiors. I love its retro-inspired design combined with the bold colour, making it ideal as a statement piece in a neutral scheme or as a colour pop in more eclectic spaces. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms, reading nooks or even bedrooms where comfort is key. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural textures like a woven rug or soft throws to soften the look, and keep surrounding decor minimal to let the vibrant colour stand out. Practical tips include positioning the footstool close to the chair for added comfort and utilising the teal as a feature colour throughout the room to create a cohesive look.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
