Majeda Clarke X Fortnum & Mason The iconic department store Fortnum & Mason approached Majeda Clarke to design blankets that were inspired by their heritage, the result was the Macaron Collection. The delicious pastel colours of macaroons behind glass counters as you enter the store, complemented by their signature aqua colour are synonymous to the brand. Majeda Clarke plays with contrasting pastel hues within blocks interacting with warp and weft yarns creating a colourful double-sided design. Fortnum & Mason wanted to capture the shared values of quality and craftsmanship found in the UK. Macaron is woven on powered looms at a small mill, nestled in a quiet valley in Wales. This collection is woven with 100% geelong lambswool creating a luxuriously lightweight soft blanket.
