Handcrafted solid wood footstool from Homescapes. Combining modern colours and expert design, the Mabel velvet footstool is the perfect addition to any home. Upholstered by skilled artisans, the 100 cotton velvet is generously filled with durable polyester fibre that will retain its shape for years to come. Finished with press-stud edging and sitting on stained and lacquered solid wooden legs this sturdy footstool can be used as a footrest, occasional seat or even emergency coffee table! Rich in colour, this jewel-toned footstool is part of Homescapes velvet collection, allowing you to mix and match and create the perfect look for your home. The range includes velvet chair pads, throws, cushions and bean-filled pouffes available in colours including burnt orange, mustard, pink, teal and grey. The Mabel velvet footstool comes in 2 sizes. A square pouffe measuring 40 x 40 cm and 25 cm tall, and a larger rectangular footstool measuring 50 x 30 cm and 40cm tall.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
