Our Lynton solid wooden dining table in a whitewash and grey stain finish is a gorgeous modern take on more traditional classic dining furniture. Comfortably seats 6, so plenty of room for families or entertaining guests. Solid wood with whitewash painted legs and a light grey stain tabletop gives this a lovely bright look. The design has a slight mid-century retro feel with the mildly angled legs but is brought up to date with the simple straight lines. This wood dining table will look fab in a range of home styles, from farmhouse country cottage to boho. Note: The whitewash paint finish is a not a brilliant white, and has warm undertones, meaning it may look more cream/beige or grey depending on the light. We've tried to accurately reflect this in the photography. Paired with our Lynton white wooden dining chairs with light grey seats. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
