Description

Complement your interior with our Luxury Ribbon Velvet Cushion in Navy. With a range of exquisite colours to choose from, this cushion effortlessly blends luxury and comfort. The 45x45cm size is perfect for adding a pop of colour and texture to your chairs, sofas, or beds, and looks ideal when styled in pairs, adding a balanced look to your decor.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cushion for its plush velvet texture and versatile grey tone, making it a great addition to both modern and classic interiors. The ribbon detailing brings subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space, perfect for layering on a sofa or bed for added comfort and style. It works particularly well in muted, neutral colour schemes or as a sophisticated accent in colourful or patterned rooms. Practical styling tips include pairing it with contrasting textures like linen or leather, or using multiple cushions of different sizes to create a relaxed yet curated look. Its understated elegance makes it a reliable choice for adding a touch of luxury to any living area.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
