Fermob asked designer Frédéric Sofia to reinterpret the mythical SENAT armchair from the Jardin du LUXEMBOURG via a range of aluminium furniture with the same name. The result is a fabulous collection for outdoors which aspires to the good life: ''By designing furniture to go with the Jardin du Luxembourg armchair, I sought subtle lines which respect the so-French style of the 20s and invite people to discover the simple pleasures of time passed in the secret of their own garden. " The newest addition to the Luxembourg collection, the all-new 3/4-seater bench has a little taste of truancy. Frédéric Sofia wanted to turn away from the traditional school bench to reinterpret it in a modern way: it gains in colour without leaving behind the classical charm that its look offers it in a completely understated way. This bench is also very durable and light, a really practical product! With its three wide seats, it is the natural companion to large tables! Ideal as a complement to the Luxembourg range, it is also perfect combined with the Cosmo table. Made in Design is offering it to you in a variety of fun, vibrant colours.
