I’m a fan of this blue bench for its clean lines and plush, quilted upholstery - it brings a touch of colour without overpowering a space. The slim black legs keep it feeling light, so it works equally well in a modern hallway, at the foot of a bed or even as additional seating in an open-plan living area.
To style it, layer a couple of textured cushions in complementary tones (think soft greys or muted greens) and add a narrow rug underneath to define the spot. In an entryway, pair it with a slim console above and a mirror to bounce light, while in a bedroom you could drape a lightweight throw over one end and use it to hold a neat stack of bedtime reads.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
