Description
Lumière, the iconic, timeless lamp by Rodolfo Dordoni, is being renewed without losing its identity. These new “Lumière Nuances” versions are dressed in three very current shades with a monochrome finish (the base is coordinated with the lampshade): Sahara, a warm hue in shades of beige to pale yellow that evokes desert sand, Cipria, a soft, charming powder pink hue, and finally Creta, a sophisticated grey-green hue. The shiny glass lampshade contrasts nicely with the matt, velvety finish of the base. The lampshade changes colour when the light is on: the colour becomes lighter. Lumière Nuances provides uniform lighting: the glass lampshade fills entirely with light and casts no shadows. Released in 1990, the Lumière lamp is a contemporary interpretation of the classic lampshade. Having become a design icon, this lamp stands out with its refined shade in hand-blown glass, a material capable like no other of transmitting emotions linked to timeless beauty. Lumière harmoniously combines tradition and innovation, emotion and technique. The Lumière lamp emits a direct, diffused light, warm and intense.
