Description

Quiet Mark awarded product The Bodyclock Luxe 750DA B from Lumie is a Class 1 graded medical device that will introduce you to the benefits of sleeping and waking with light, encouraging a more regular sleep and wake pattern. Light at the start of the day is the most effective way to reset your internal clock and the daily cycle of hormones, metabolism and sleep. Wake up bright Bodyclock Luxe 750DA B wakes you gently at the alarm time when the light is at its brightest. Waking up with gradual light has been proven to boost mood, productivity and energy levels, so that you feel brighter and ready for the day ahead. Choose the simulated gradual sunrise setting to wake up with authentic colours and light. Using sound, there are over 20 wake-up sounds available, or choose the DAB+ radio or alarm clock. Unwind and drift off naturally The integrated LED in this lamp has a variable final light intensity, allowing you to set a low-blue light before bedtime. This will assist with the alerting effect caused by tablet screens and smart phones. Fading light is a signal for the body to produce melatonin ready for sleep, so the gradual sunset feature will help you to feel naturally drowsy. Authentic light colours will fade through pink, orange and red before turning off completely. You can also use this table lamp as a night light. Combat Seasonal Affective Disorder This product is recommended for SAD and winter blues sufferers as it helps to regulate your sleep and wake cycles. Key features include: USB port for music playback or charging your phone Alarm clock with tap-control snooze Light-sensitive auto-dimming display Choice of over 20 sleep and wake-up sounds DAB/DAB+ radio Bluetooth for streaming radio or personal music

Our Stylist Says

I love this wake-up lamp because of its sleek, modern design and its versatility in fitting into various interior styles, from contemporary to Scandi-inspired. Its soft, diffuse light feels calm and inviting, making it ideal for bedrooms or dressing areas. The best styling tip is to place it on bedside tables or side consoles where its subtle, functional presence complements other tech or decorative pieces. To maximise its benefit, pair it with neutral tones or textured fabrics to enhance its gentle glow without overwhelming the space. This lamp not only adds a practical touch but also subtly elevates the room’s aesthetic with its minimalist charm.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
