The Luke Irwin Sari Silk collection, is made up rugs constructed entirely out of recycled saris which would have otherwise been discarded. Hand knotted, the beauty of these rugs is that every single piece is completely unique. During the weaving process, it is left to chance where the colour will fall, which gives the collection a wonderful unpredictability. Even the plainest rug will have the most glorious shot of colour, giving each piece a unique appeal. Suitable for use in rooms with underfloor heating About your new rug: Each rug is unique and a slight variance in colour is to be expected. Light shedding is expected particularly in new rugs, this will reduce over time and will not affect the quality or longevity of the rug. We recommend that your rug is placed in a low traffic area, and we recommend that you vacuum your rug occasionally to keep it clean, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a spinning brush head. Generally light dirty marks can be cleaned with a damp cloth and new spills are blotted. Do not use detergents to clean or dry clean your rug. Specialist cleaning is recommended.
