Description

Bring a pop of coastal charm into your home with the Lucy Buoy Style Glass Table Lamp in Blue. Featuring a striking buoy-inspired glass base in a soft blue hue, this lamp adds a refreshing, oceanic feel to any room. The combination of its translucent finish, rope accents and neutral shade makes it a versatile choice for both contemporary and traditional spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Lucy Buoy Style Glass Table Lamp because of its striking yet versatile design. The blue glass base adds a pop of colour and contemporary charm, making it an eye-catching piece in both modern and coastal-inspired interiors. It works especially well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even on a statement console table, where its playful, nautical vibe shines. When styling, consider pairing it with natural textures like linen or rattan to enhance its casual elegance. For practicality, place it on surfaces where it can provide ambient task lighting, and don't be afraid to layer it with other lamps of varying heights for a curated, cosy feel.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
