Description

Perfect for animal lovers and whimsical interiors, the Lucille Owl Table Lamp in Bronze offers a charming yet elegant design. The intricately sculpted owl base is finished in a warm bronze tone, providing a vintage feel that pairs beautifully with the natural shade. This lamp casts a soft, ambient glow, making it a delightful addition to bedrooms, reading nooks, or cosy corners.

Our Stylist Says

I love the owl table lamp because it adds a charming, whimsical touch while maintaining a sense of sophistication with its bronze finish. Its versatility makes it perfect for both eclectic and traditional interiors-great on bedside tables, consoles, or sideboards. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural textures like wood or linen for a cosy, layered feel. It’s also a practical choice for spaces where you want ambient lighting with a bit of character, and the white shade helps diffuse light evenly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Keep accessories minimal around it to let the lamp's playful yet refined design be the focal point.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
