Our Stylist Says
I love this spot, especially for its sleek, minimalist look - the black finish and trimless design make it perfect for contemporary interiors, where clean lines are key. It works well in modern apartments, open-plan kitchens, or even in commercial spaces where a subtle, streamlined lighting solution is needed. When styling, consider pairing it with other matte black fixtures or natural textures to create a cohesive look. Practical tips include using it to highlight artwork or architectural features, and placing them in a grid or pattern to add visual interest without clutter. This spot's understated design helps it blend seamlessly into various settings while providing adjustable, focused lighting where you need it most.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
