Our Stylist Says
I love this spotlit in black for its sleek, modern look that adds a touch of industrial edge to any space. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimal interiors, but can also add contrast in more traditional settings. Practical styling tips include using it in kitchens for task lighting over islands or in living areas to highlight artwork or architectural features. Its adjustable heads make it versatile for directing light exactly where needed, and pairing it with exposed Edison bulbs will enhance its industrial vibe. Overall, it’s a great choice for those looking to add functional style and a bit of edgy character to their ceilings.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
