A rug designed by the AMPM design studio as a contemporary piece of abstract wall art in natural tones. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Product Details • 52% lyocell, 48% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 4300g/m² • Pile height: 12mm. Quality Info • Lyocell is also called artificial silk. This smooth, shiny, very soft fibre has subtle variations in tone depending on the light and the direction of the hair.. A remarkable material, as practical as it is aesthetic. • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended.
