I’m a big fan of the Lucca bed in pink velvet for the way its soft upholstery and neat stud detailing add a touch of warmth without overpowering a room. It works equally well in modern-Scandi schemes - where you can layer pale greys and whites for a calm backdrop - and in more glam interiors, paired with brass lighting and a mirrored bedside table.
For everyday styling, keep your bedding simple (think ivory or light grey) and then introduce one or two accent cushions in deeper shades like teal or charcoal. If yours has the built-in drawer at the foot, use it to tuck away extra throws or linen and keep the surface clutter-free. Finally, add a sculptural plant or a low stack of books on a nearby stool to balance the headboard’s height.
