Add a practical and adjustable light to your home design with the Lucas Ceiling Spotlight Bar. This light is perfect for kitchens or utility rooms due to the 6 fully adjustable spotlight heads which allow for directional and customisable lighting to suit your preference. It also features a sleek black chrome finish and has a ribbed design, offering a stylish and urban appearance to your interior design.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Lucas ceiling spotlight bar for its sleek, modern appeal and versatility. The black chrome finish lends a contemporary edge, making it an ideal choice for minimalist or industrial-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in open-plan living spaces, kitchens, or home offices where directional lighting is needed. My tip for styling is to use it to highlight specific areas or artwork, or pair it with dimmable bulbs to adjust the ambience. Its adjustable spots make it functional for task lighting, while the streamlined design ensures it stays subtle even when focused on different spaces. Overall, a practical yet stylish addition for a clean, modern look.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
