I’m a big fan of this low-footend pine bed because its simple lines and warm, natural finish suit a wide range of schemes - from Scandi-inspired minimalism to relaxed countryside retreats. The lower footboard keeps the sight-line open, making smaller rooms feel airier, while the sturdy pine brings in a subtle, tactile grain that’s easy to dress up or down. For styling, layer neutral linens with a textured wool throw and mix in cushions in muted tones or soft patterns. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
