Our Stylist Says
I love this lamp for its combination of classic and contemporary appeal. The green velvet shade adds a touch of richness and texture, making it a versatile piece that can work well in both modern and eclectic interiors. It’s great for living rooms, bedrooms, or even cosy reading corners, where a pop of colour and a soft, diffused light are desired. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral tones for a calm aesthetic, or contrasting it with warmer hues or metallic accents to create visual interest. Practical tip: position the lamp near seating to enhance its functional role without overwhelming the space. Its slender, tripod base also makes it ideal for rooms where floor space is limited.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
