Our Stylist Says
I love this floor lamp because of its clean, contemporary design with a natural wood finish that adds warmth to a space. It works particularly well in modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist interiors, where its understated elegance can truly shine. For styling tips, consider placing it in a cosy corner or next to a reading chair to create an inviting nook. Pairing it with lighter or neutral tones in cushions and throws can help it stand out without feeling overpowering. Its tapered shade and sleek black detailing are versatile enough to complement both neutral palettes and more textured, layered schemes. Practical tip - since it uses an LED bulb, it’s energy-efficient and low-maintenance, making it a stylish yet functional addition for everyday spaces.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
