Lott Terrazzo Opal Ball 4 Light Spotlight Bar, Satin Brass

Our Stylist Says

I love the Lott Terrazzo Opal Ball spot bar for its clean, contemporary look combined with the subtle warmth of satin brass. It’s a versatile piece that works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, providing focused task lighting without overpowering the space. It’s perfect above kitchen islands, dining tables, or in living rooms where spotlights can highlight artwork or architectural features. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral colour palettes to let the brass detail shine or adding complementary terrazzo accents to create a cohesive, curated look. Its adjustable heads also make it practical for directing light exactly where you need it, making it both a stylish and functional choice.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
