Description

Incorporate a post-modern flair to your home decor with our Lott Terrazzo Opal Ball 3 Light Spotlight Plate. The water printed terrazzo base adds a trendy, modern feeling to the light while the satin brass finish perfectly complements any modern decor - especially eclectic interiors. Opal glass shades are not only stylish but also wonderful diffusers - ensuring your room is filled with a softer, ambient light.

Our Stylist Says

I love this ceiling light because of its sleek yet playful design, combining the subtle elegance of satin brass with the contemporary charm of terrazzo detailing. It works particularly well in modern or Scandinavian-inspired interiors where clean lines and understated luxury are key. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist decor to let the fixture stand out or combining with other brass accents to create a cohesive look. It's versatile enough for kitchens, dining areas, or even bedrooms, providing both functional illumination and a stylish focal point. Keep in mind, positioning it over dining tables or in living spaces can really highlight its modern charm while enhancing ambient lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
