The luxury Loribaft Gabbeh 48323 is a truly unique and totally individual hand-knotted rug. Featuring a stunning Persian design in vibrant shades of wine, red, blue, and orange. The nomadic Uzbek and Turkmen tribe weave this specific Loribaft quality. Beautifully crafted using hand spun Ghazni wool on a cotton foundation, then finished using pure natural dyes. Once dyed and hand knotted in Afghanistan this rug has been transported over to Pakistan where it has been expertly finished, including washing and trimming. As such, no two pieces are the same, meaning you can add an authentic and unique piece of crafted design into your home, whilst supporting this heritage industry. The striking traditional design makes it the perfect new addition to add to the vintage home, and would fit perfectly in the hallway, bedroom and living room areas, wherever you want to make a statement and add a cultural feel.
I love the Loribaft Gabbeh 48323 rug for its authentic, handcrafted appeal and lively multi-coloured design, making it an excellent statement piece in a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in bohemian, eclectic, or desert-inspired schemes, complementing natural textures like timber, stone, or woven elements. For practical styling tips, consider layering it over neutral floorings or alongside simple furniture to let the pattern stand out. Given its size, it can anchor a seating area or define a dining space, adding warmth and visual interest. Its durable wool construction also makes it ideal for high-traffic areas, ensuring both style and longevity.
