Our Stylist Says
The Lori orange checkerboard lamp is a bold statement piece that works really well in contemporary and eclectic interiors. I love how its vibrant orange pattern adds warmth and energy to a space, making it perfect as a bedside or side table lamp. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral tones or wooden furniture to let the colour really pop, or use it to inject colour into a monochrome scheme. It’s also versatile enough to sit in a living room, home office, or even loft-style spaces, where its graphic pattern can be appreciated. Practical tip: keep surrounding accessories minimal to let the lamp take centre stage and avoid visual clutter.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
