Description

Our versatile Longworth chair is crafted from sustainable oak wood with smooth clean lines and a woven jute seat pad. Solid in structure and classic in design, this contemporary chair is the perfect addition to your kitchen, office or dining room.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Longworth oak chair for its clean, minimalist design and natural finish, which makes it highly versatile. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired interiors or rustic schemes, where its simple lines and warm wood tone add a sense of calm and organic charm. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral-toned or textured cushions for comfort, or use it alongside other natural materials like linen or jute in your dining space. Its understated aesthetic also makes it adaptable for more contemporary or even eclectic interiors, where its straightforward form can act as a balancing element amidst bolder pieces. Practical tips include ensuring its proportions suit the table and space, and leveraging its natural look to highlight a mix of textures and materials in your room.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
