Description
Here, Lollipop transports us into the extravagant, offbeat, rock universe of the great Marcel Wanders. It looks as though it has been lifted straight from a wonderful fairy tale, an oversized (H 200 cm) hand mirror that will add an enchanting touch to any home, like a door to another world. This surreal mirror is meant as a playful nod to a traditionally precious female object that we all know well. The Lollipop mirror is an umpteenth example of Fiam’s distinctive use of technology. To create this huge mirror, the company has to melt a huge amount of glass at a temperature of 1000 °C. The retro silver-plated glass frame is reflective, so it prolongs the reflection in perfect continuity with the mirror. The handle’s curved lines distort reality, making it a fascinating object to contemplate. The real world is silhouetted within, reflected, recreated: no one will resist its magical effect!.
