Price History

Description

Our Lois Twin Frosted Wall Light is the perfect contemporary addition to your home interiors. Finished in satin brass, the minimal design beautifully matches any eclectic, modern decor. The frosted glass shades diffuse the light within and fill your space with a soft, relaxed mood light - ideal for any bedroom or living room while still providing a practical task light.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the twin frosted wall light for its sleek, contemporary design and versatile finish. The satin brass adds a warm, sophisticated touch that works well in modern or transitional interiors, especially when paired with muted tones or textured fabrics. It's ideal for bedrooms, hallways, or cosy reading corners, where soft, ambient lighting is preferred. For styling tips, consider positioning it above a bed or sofa for balanced illumination and layering with complementary brass accessories or muted wall colours to create a cohesive look. Its understated elegance makes it a practical choice for anyone seeking both style and function in their wall lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
