With a generous capacity for storing everything from books and objet to dinnerware and glasses, each piece features a handy drawer to the bottom and a rustic, visible wood grain. I’m a fan of this loft cabinet for its clean lines and warm reclaimed-wood finish, which makes it versatile in both industrial and modern-farmhouse schemes. It’s ideal in a living room or dining area, where the glass doors let you show off ceramics, books and heirloom pieces without them feeling cluttered.
For styling, mix in objects of varying heights and textures - think a couple of low coffee-table books topped with a small plant, a mid-height vase and a taller sculptural piece. Keep odd numbers in each shelf group and leave a little breathing space around items to let the wood’s grain and the cabinet’s structure stand out. Use the lower drawers to stow away less attractive bits and bobs, so the display always looks fresh.
