Description
Retro, glamorous and chic, the Loafer sofa is from the Space Copenhagen Danish design duo commissioned by the prestigious SAS Royal Hotel, designed by Arne Jacobsen in Copenhagen. Intended to occupy the hotel’s legendary foyer, the Loafer sofa’s lines are reminiscent of the circular columns and spiral staircase which overlook the space. Compact, comfortable and enveloping, the Loafer sofa lets you sit down without feeling exposed. The generous, enveloping seat is padded with high-resilience foam and polyester. The sofa is completely upholstered in high-end fabric. The topstitching that sculpts the backrest by drawing vertical lines adds a sophisticated couture feel.
