I’m a big fan of this walnut shelving kit for its clean-lined simplicity and warm grain - it feels equally at home in a Scandi-inspired living room or a pared-back home office. The modular design lets you play with open and closed cubbies, so you can strike a balance between display and hidden storage.
To style it, group books both vertically and horizontally, then layer in decorative objects in odd numbers to keep things dynamic. Tuck a couple of woven baskets or boxes into lower bays to hide clutter, and finish with trailing plants or sculptural vases to soften the straight edges. Because the units interlock, you can also reconfigure them down the line if you move house or change up your scheme.
