Price History

Description

This battery powered, neon-effect lamp will add an accent of colour to your space. Featuring five colours in a rainbow shape, you can perch it on a table, shelving unit, or even attach it to the wall. Good to know This lamp requires three, good quality AA batteries. To increase the battery longevity, it's recommended that you do not leave the light switched on for more than 4 hours a day Do not mix different types of batteries, including new and used If any of the rainbow colours begin to fade or dissipate, this is a sign the batteries are depleting. Simply replace the batteries to bring the rainbow back to full colour

Our Stylist Says

I love this rainbow neon lamp for its playful yet modern touch, making it a perfect statement piece in a child's bedroom, playroom, or even a quirky living space. Its bright colours and soft glow add a fun, colourful vibe without overwhelming the room. It works well styled alongside minimal decor to let the lamp really stand out or mixed with other vibrant accessories for a lively, eclectic look. Practical tips include placing it on a side table or shelf at an accessible height for easy on/off, and pairing it with simple, neutral lighting elsewhere to let the neon really shine. It’s a great way to bring a touch of whimsy while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
