Description
Lisbon Bed frame has faux leather upholstery. With its neutral colour, it will fit perfectly into a modern, low-key interior design, or provide a sobering counterpoint to a vibrant decor. Frame is made from sturdy plywood. Unlike solid wood, which is strong only across the grain, plywood is tough regardless of directional force, making it very good at resisting sharp blows and wear and tear.

I’m a fan of the Lisbon bed in brown faux leather because its clean lines and low profile give a modern, pared-back feel while the rich brown tone adds warmth. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired or industrial schemes, and the easy-wipe surface makes it practical for everyday use. To style, keep bedding neutral - think crisp whites or soft greys - and layer in a textured wool throw and a couple of velvet cushions for contrast. Position simple oak or black-metal bedside tables to echo the frame’s minimalist look, and finish with a low-pile rug in muted tones to define the sleeping area without overwhelming the space.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
