Description
The Lira table is the perfect solution for the adaptable modern home. Extending effortlessly from 100cms to 140cms and with a family-friendly wipe-clean high gloss surface, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more stylish and versatile dining table. The four grey burst legs add an element of luxury and are cleverly positioned to accommodate the extending element for extra chairs. The table-top separates on a smooth sliding mechanism with the extension piece concealed under the top, lifting out easily to unfold and create the additional length in the extended table. Modernise your dining area with our luxurious velvet upholstered Pesaro Dining Chairs. With a nod to the Mid-century modern design era, the Pesaro features gorgeous textured diamond stitching with an ergonomically designed curved seat pad blending seamlessly to the supporting medium high back rest. Sat atop elegant slightly tapered legs in black, chrome or gold effect. The Pesaro is a perfect match to any dining table or use as a luxe vanity seat in the bedroom, as an occasional chair for the living area or to add a bit of luxury to your home office.
Our Stylist Says
The Lira table with the black-legged chairs makes for a sleek, modern dining set that works well in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The grey metal extension is practical for hosting guests, offering flexibility without compromising on style. I love how the neutral palette allows it to pair effortlessly with various colour schemes, from soft pastels to bold accents. For styling tips, consider adding a statement centrepiece or layered placemats to introduce texture and warmth - a vase of fresh flowers or colourful tableware can elevate the look. This set is versatile enough to sit comfortably in both open-plan living areas and more intimate dining spaces, making it a smart choice for those seeking both function and modern elegance.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
