Description
This high gloss Lira chrome extending dining table is the perfect solution for an adaptable modern home. Its size fits snug in a small space and extends from 100cms to 140cms to bring a fresh and vibrant feel to your dining space. But this high gloss table is as functional as it is stylish. The eye-catching gloss finish is easy to wipe clean, making it a versatile family-friendly investment. Plus, the four white burst legs are specially positioned to accommodate the extension of the dining table, allowing for more space and extra chairs. The extending function is simple. The table top separates on a smooth sliding mechanism with the extension pieces cleverly concealed underneath. This lifts out easily to unfold and create additional space, enough to fit four people around in comfort, and up to six people when extended. Upholstered in soft touch black velvet and finished with diamond pattern stitching the Milan dining chairs would seamlessly fit in with most dining spaces, whilst not compromising on either style or comfort. The stylish black powder coated metal leg and hatched velvet combination gives this chair a contemporary edge, whilst it's simple design allows for practical everyday usage. The chairs are made from high quality durable velvet that's easy to keep clean and are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and support. They feature a deep foam seat cushion and plastic feet to protect the floor from any damage! At an unbeatable price you cannot go wrong with these chairs!
Our Stylist Says
The LIRA 100 Extending Dining Table with the Milan black leg velvet chairs offers a sleek, contemporary look that works well in modern and minimalist interiors, as well as more glamorous settings. I love its functional extendable design, which makes it adaptable for both everyday use and larger gatherings. The black velvet chairs add a touch of luxe and contrast beautifully against lighter schemes, but they can also be paired with bold colours or metallic accents for a more dramatic effect. Practical styling tips include keeping the tabletop minimal and adding texture with layered place mats or centrepieces, while the velvet chairs are best complemented with simple, elegant tableware to keep the overall look balanced. This set is versatile enough to work in open-plan kitchens, dining rooms, or even transitional spaces that blend modern with classic touches.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
