I’m a fan of this oak dining table for its clean lines and warm, pale tone - it slots effortlessly into Scandi, minimalist or modern schemes. Its slim profile keeps the room feeling light, while the solid wood top gives you plenty of everyday durability. Styling tip: layer a neutral linen runner down the centre and place a simple ceramic vase with fresh greenery for a low-key centrepiece. Mix in chairs of different materials - perhaps black metal and upholstered seats - to introduce contrast, and anchor the setting with a textured rug underneath. In tighter spaces, pair it with a bench on one side to keep the layout flexible.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
