Description

Bring the drama to your interior decor with the stunning Lincoln Pendant Ceiling Light. This statement fitting is finished in a stunning satin brass tone; paired beautifully with the champagne tinted glass shades from which the warm light fills your room with an ambient glow. This stylish centrepiece is ideal for adding a contemporary statement to any living room, dining room or bedroom.

Our Stylist Says

The Lincoln pendant is a striking statement piece that adds a contemporary yet elegant touch to any space. Its satin brass finish makes it versatile, working especially well in modern, minimalist, or Scandi-inspired interiors. I love pairing this in open-plan living areas or dining rooms where its sculptural form can be appreciated from across the room. Practical styling tip: hang it at eye level over a dining table or in a high-ceilinged room to balance proportions. Keeping surrounding decor simple allows the pendant's design to shine, making it a focal point without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
