Description

The versatile Lincoln flip top table converts from a small 4 seater square table to an 8 seater rectangular one in an instant. Designed in house and made from solid American oak and oak veneers, the table is great for families and a practical space saver. Our dining chair collection includes designs with oak legs that are the perfect complement to the Lincoln table and are available in a variety of colours.

Our Stylist Says

This table is a versatile piece that works beautifully in a range of interior styles, from Scandi minimalism to more traditional settings. I love its clean, natural oak finish and the practical flip-top feature, making it ideal for compact spaces or those who need flexibility - perfect for combining everyday dining with larger gatherings. When styling, consider pairing it with simple, modern chairs for a contemporary look, or softer upholstered options for a more relaxed, cosy vibe. Keep accessories minimal to let the natural grain of the wood stand out, and consider adding a runner or a centrepiece for a touch of personality. Its understated yet functional design makes it a practical choice that adapts well to changing needs and aesthetics.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
